The Lineage Groups recognize families of long time residents of Cuyahoga County. Pioneers are those who arrived in the County prior to December 31, 1850; Settlers are those who arrived between 1851 and 1880; and Centurians are those who arrived  after 1880, but more than 100 years ago (i.e. if they arrived in Cuyahoga County by December 31, 1918, they would be eligible for recognition in 2019).

• Applications for recognition in 2019 must be received by December 31, 2018.  The application form may be downloaded by clicking here.
