On Friday evening, The Jewish Genealogy Society of Cleveland and Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple joined in a Celebration of the move of the Genealogy Society Library to Fairmount Temple, the beginning of the 30th year of the Genealogy Society, the 25th anniversary of the Arthur J. Lelyveld Center for Jewish Learning which houses the Fairmount Temple Library, and Jewish Book Month at Friday night services, followed by a Festive Oneg Shabbat and a talk by Ms. Cassedy, entitled:

That was followed by our annual meeting and elections on Sunday, where Ms. Cassedy discussed the following topic:

This special workshop featured Wi-Fi internet and access to Ancestry.com, which was available (for the first 20 registrants) if they brought their own Wi-Fi enabled laptop.

The program was free to paid up JGSC members and $15 for non-members. Non-members could have their fee applied to membership but no later than the conclusion of the program.
