Lake View Cemetery

This very large cemetery is located at 12316 Euclid Avenue, in Cleveland's University Circle and Little Italy neighborhoods, and extends into East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights. A Second Entrance (shown below) is on Mayfield Rd at Kenilworth Ave, in Cleveland Heights. was established in 1869, and is considered “Cleveland’s Outdoor Museum and Arboretum” and is a historical, horticultural, architectural, sculptural, and geological gem. As a non-sectarian general community cemetery with Jewish sections, it is the resting place over 104,000 people, including many famous Clevelanders, and is the site of the Garfield Memorial, which is President James A. Garfield's tomb, and which is open to the public. Also on the grounds is the Wade Memorial Chapel which features an interior designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany
